Clear Browser Cache (Web Dashboard)

Resetting your cache will potentially help in the event of 404, 502, and other errors that may possibly result from a corrupt cache, and clear any private data you have stored in the form of login IDs, passwords, and additional sensitive information you’d rather not save on your machine. It’s also a simple trick you can employ to shed any unnecessary data, which could slow down your browser.

As periodic updates are made to ExpertConnect, there are times when your browser cache may prevent you from accessing certain buttons or other actions on the web dashboard. There are a few ways you can fix this:

Quick reset

  • On a Windows PC - With the ExpertConnect web dashboard open on your browser, hit the Ctrl + F5 buttons to refresh and reset the cache for that browser tab.
  • On a Mac - With the ExpertConnect dashboard open on your browser, hit the Cmnd + Shift + R buttons to refresh and reset the cache for that browser tab.

Clear browsing data in your Chrome Browser

  1. Go to your Google Chrome Settings
  2. Click on Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Set the time range to 7 days. Make sure Browsing History, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files are all selected. Click the Clear data button.

Clear browsing data in your Microsoft Edge Browser

  1. Press Ctrl+H to load browser history
  2. Click Clear Browsing Data
  3. Set the time range to the last 7 days and click "Clear Now."

Clear Android App Cache

For Android users that are experiencing issues with the ExpertConnect mobile app, a good troubleshooting step is clearing your app cache. This will help improve overall app performance and reset your permissions.

This process may vary by Android device. Please search to find more information specific to your device.

  1. Click into your phone Settings.
  2. Search or scroll down to find the ExpertConnect app.
  3. Click into Storage.
  4. Click Clear Data.
